Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mermal Magic include a range of pretty seashell shaped eggs, with ombre sheeny and colorful designs. The hatching process remains the same, but inside there is a wide range of under the sea style characters, including some with their very own mermaid tails. The characters include color change technology, meaning that parts of their body change color when under warm water. When removed from the water, they fairly rapidly return to their original shade.
Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mermal Magic is available in a variety of different pack sizes, the majority of which are pocket money prices, which is ideal as children are going to enjoy collecting them all.
The Seashell shaped eggs in Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mermal Magic are quite a different shape and texture to the traditional eggs and as such, with a slightly more rough and glittery surface.
Each box comes with the Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 5 collector sheet, which includes a map showing where all the characters live, as well as the different families to which the character belong. As always some are common and others rare and super rare. As in Season 3, there is a small selection of eggs which contain two characters or Mermal Twins, as well as some special edition characters that can only be found in the larger pack sizes.
There are over 80 different NEW characters to collect in Hatchimals Season 5 Mermal Magic, from 6 different families, and to prevent a huge amount of duplication, some of the families have different egg colors, making it that little bit easier to collect the ones you need to complete your collection.

The Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mermal Magic 2 pack comes with a little nest, which is a fun way to play with the characters or store them when not in use. These packs can include a variety of different colored eggs, meaning you can choose carefully in store when trying to find characters from a particular family.
The 6 pack with its shell case is a little bit special. The case comes in either glittery pink, purple and blue, and inside are 6 bronze eggs as well as a small pack of Hatchimals stickers. From a parents point of view, the case is a great idea, as it becomes a great container for storing all the characters once they are hatched.

Twisty Petz
Have you heard of Twisty Petz yet? Twisty Petz from Spin Master is the newest collectible craze. If you haven’t heard of Twisty Petz before, they are twistable, wearable fashionable pets.
One minute they are a super adorable pet and the next (with one twist), they transform into really cute and stylish bracelets. How cool is that?
There are over 70 Twisty Pets to collect in total and they come in single packs and packs of three, where one of the pets is always a hidden surprise.
Each Twisty Pet features beautiful gem details and sparkling finishes. No two pets look the same either, making these stylish bracelets the perfect fashion statement.
Transforming the pets into a bracelet or necklace and back again is so easy. To make a bracelet, you simply pull the head and tail of the pet at the same time and it will untwist.
You then simply post the end of the tail into the top of the head and click it together. To make a necklace, just connect three (or more) twisty pets together.
You can also bring your twisty pet friend back to life by changing them from a bracelet and twisting them back into their pet form.
Transforming them back into a pet might take your little one a little bit of practice at first.
I have to admit that I am super impressed with how durable Twisty Pets are. There is nothing flimsy about them, But, the clasps are so strong and even after using them over and over again there is no sign of wear and tear on them at all.
