I fell in love with Formulary 55 at first glance. A line of bath and body products where each product is interesting and elevated above the typical. Everything smells amazing, of course, and the striking botanical-inspired design and packaging are cool. I can’t get enough.
Cordelia, the founder, and the owner started when she was 20 out of her kitchen selling at Farmer’s Markets. She even grew some of the ingredients! It was very thoughtful and slow with the business in the beginning because she had very little money to put into the business. Looking back now and realize that was a blessing in disguise. It forced her to really listen to customers and learn what they wanted. To this day I only add new items after long periods of research.
I was super excited to try the Earthy/Woody Scents featuring four signature scents, including Sandalwood & Cedar, Orange Peel & Patchouli, Agave & Teakwood, and Fern & Moss all made with Shea Butter.
Sandalwood & Cedar- A mix of floral, balsamic, soft, and sweet accents that is both earthy and sophisticated.
Orange Peel & Patchouli- Bright citrus notes mixed with earthy essential oils.
Agave & Teakwood-A blend of sea moss, bark, cedar, teakwood, agave, aloe, and sweet melon.
Fern & Moss-Herbaceous and woodsy mix of leaves, amber, earth, and violets.
All Formulary 55 products are made by hand in Pueblo, Colorado with the finest vegan, cruelty-free, SLS-free, and paraben-free ingredients.
